Chargemaster has added 9 of its newly installed fire brigade points to the NCR. The company has installed 156 new EV charging points across 76 fire stations and fire brigade sites across London. 9 locations and 18 points are available for public use and have been added to the NCR.
The other 138 charge points are expected to be added in the coming weeks but clearly marked as private with no public access.
Installing charge points at fire stations is in response to the growing fleet of EVs used by the London fire brigade and their popularity amongst the general public.
All of the points will be on the POLAR network and the public will be able to access them through a POLAR membership or by registering and unlocking them from their phones.
The points added to the NCR so far are: Croydon, East Ham, Edmonton, Finchley, Hainault, Harold Hill, Hornsey, Ilford and New Malden fire stations.
