Following consultation and development, the new NCR system has now gone live. The updated system brings with it improved usability both from a data provider and third party user perspective.
The improved system provides a more user-friendly interface and improved processes for data providers, allowing data to be input more accurately and efficiently. The aim is to improve coverage and accuracy for end users and third party users.
Improvements in the new system includes:
– Updated user interface allowing more detailed and efficient data entry
– Multi-user moderation to ensure the registry reflects the best available data
– Improved exports allowing third party users to create more detailed applications

To download the latest version of the NCR (in all formats), users are directed to the official Government data portal at: data.gov.uk/dataset/national-charge-point-registry. No registration is required for this service.
